Joe Nobody

Ok this is the first of a series of my opinion/review of Youtubers and I can't think of a better way to start than with Joe Nobody, With over 98000 subscribers he is obviously ever popular within the community and users alike.

Joe has been making his videos for 3 years plus and his fast talking no nonsense ways are I would say one of the reasons that this guy is popular, If you are looking for information on how to install the newest add ons or the latest iptv services then Joe is your man. Also on the menu for Joe's reviews are builds and in fairness he does them well also, However build reviews are not for me with them all sharing the same add ons pretty much and there is not a great deal more you can do with builds.

Videos from Joe Nobody are frequent and he gets his point across and also makes sure that everything is step by step and easy for the viewer to understand. Joe does not do much in the way of "technical" videos as in how to create a wizard or skin tutorials etc which is a shame as with Kodi it does get to a point where you already aware of what Joe is selling so if i were to categorise Youtubers Joe would be in the category of "for newbies". I also feel Joe let himself down a bit recently after a making a video about hints and tips where a certain add on was featured very prominently, Then one week later he makes 2 videos referencing the same add on but this time he accuses firstly of this add of "killing Kodi", Then the second video accuses them of extortion. This was definitely a "jump on the bandwagon" video showing us that Joe is in the "clique".

Overall I like Joe's attitude towards his videos and as i have stated if you are a newbie his Youtube channel is great for you, Although it would be better to see him not involving himself in the fights of others as nearly 100,000 viewers can see both the good and the bad. They can also see the bias there with guys work within the "clique".

The link for the Joe Nobody Youtube channel will be posted below. Keep up the good work Joe.

Youtubers

With so many Youtubers out there who are the best ones to check out ?

When I first started dabbling with 3rd party addons and making my own builds i like 1000's of others went to Youtube to start searching for answers, Wading through until finding out what i needed to know. Then it was time to move on to make my own wizard and after weeks of following tutorials i was hugely frustrated at not being able to see what i was doing wrong.

Having asked as many builders and messaging some Youtubers I had many answers from builders but only 2 replies from Youtubers. The first Youtubers response was "this is my living and i will do a wizard for you but you would have to send £170" after saying i would get back to him i had half decided to give up, When out of the blue the second guy said send email me all the details. After a few days he replied that i had done everything ok but the issue was with my hosting. So after changing my hosting iit worked bang on and i have not looked back since. This guy did all that and asked for nothing, So i donated a few quid as a thank you.

The point i am making is that 95% of Youtubers want your subscriptions, Shares and so on as it is a source of income for them. I am in no way condemning that and i may even look to become a Youtuber myself one day. The reason I say One day is because right now I have nothing technically to teach or help anybody with and with all due respect any muppet can join the crowd where you can watch around 8 to 12 videos a day that are the best builds or best add on and teaching you how to install an addon. We will use metaliq add on for an example, As it is not in a repo many Youtubers used that opportunity to put the link into their own adfly link just to get a few pennies out of it.

If you want to watch videos of builds showing you the same addons but different pictures or videos on a new IPTV stalker that will last for 2 to 3 days then you are in luck as there are stacks for you to find, however if you are looking on videos on how to modify your current skin and I do not mean from within the skin itself I am talking about using the texture tool and html or the little things required to make your wizard among other things your choice is limited, They are there but finding the good ones you can find yourself distracted by all the other stuff that comes up in a search.

The best information for addons and repos is by far on Twitter where you can follow the dev's themselves and get all the info you need about sources and repos.

After a while now checking in on Youtube and Twitter regularly you will find a certain "clique" between Youtubers and if one has a dispute with someone they seem to then gang up on that person, Hopefully one day they will realise how transparent they are, they was even a recent instance where a screenshot was shown of a Youtuber asking another party for $200 for a good review, When the other party refused there was a review done anyway and guess what???? ..........Well you already know the answer on what kind of review it had.

With all this said i have decided that everyday i am going to do a review of Youtubers, As i keep saying these will be my opinion and no one else's.

Thanks

Kodi Builds

Being a very very new blog I was full of ideas when i started out about reviewing everything and his dog. Today i was going to do some reviews on builds......But after checking out around Seventeen or Eighteen I can't quite remember I realised that basically reviewing builds is totally and utterly pointless.

Here is for why.......Apart from the look they are all pretty much the same with all the same add ons, Some look fantastic and of course the lighter builds are a little more responsive, but in truth nothing to write home about. So my builds section will be dropped like a stone from a great height.

I have however decided to do something else. I have today ordered a number of different devices from china. I have ordered Eight in total from the MXQ to a few variations of TV android sticks, All of which i will test out and review for you good people. Then (if i have enough readers by then) I will raffle off for charity.

For my own personal use i currently run with a an Amazon firestick and my Mrs uses a cheap 2gb box i bought cheap some time ago. From my own personal views I read all the time about firestick's not having enough memory and so on. Well I run two builds on mine one of which is over 500MB and the other is 130MB. Both run fine and I have never had any issues.

Final thought for today is back to the "best build" being touted all over twitter again with all this "vote for me"...........GUYS YOUR BUILDS ALL HAVE THE SAME STUFF ON THEM.

Thanks

A look at the TDB wizard

Today I have been looking around the TDB wizard and in fairness I can only see this going one way and that is up. As well as hosting their own builds they also have a community builds section with more great builds. Full with maintenance tools, In time i can see this wizard giving Ares a run for their money and all in all another great addition to the Kodi experience.

TDB themselves have their own builds which are Horus, Horus xxxl , Ember , Zeus, Steam and chill and Toonflix. Also builds from Kiddo, Tombraider, Top tutorials, LEETV, Done right and Kodi nutz. All respected builds in their own right and all right here in one add on.

The Forum for TDB is very informative and helpful packed with all all the news from updates to new builds and questions are answered quickly, While the twitter feed is constantly updated and the facebook page as a friendly feel about it.

If your looking for something relatively new and different then this wizard is well worth a look.

My humble opinion on builds

I see many posts on facebook asking which is the best build. My answer is that the best build is either one you have made yourself or the one you yourself choose. I have also seen recently these monthly competitions about "the best build" and some builders promoting themselves begging for votes. So lets put that in perspective. I know of one build alone that has had 3 million plus downloads, Granted a big percentage of that will be box sellers and re-downloads.So when you think that a few thousand voted on "the best build" it becomes a bit of a farce really but hey each to their own. If you do not want to make your own build instead of asking try some out, You have have many choices.Check out Ares and Youtube to name just two there is a huge variety out there. In my opinion a build is just a channel to show off the work of the developers, Without these guys and gals there would be no builds. I will be sort of reviewing builds as this blog goes along but you are unlikely to see me give a bad review I will be focusing on the positives due to the work that goes in to these builds that are put out there for free. I started my own builds for 2 reasons, The first is because i was a box seller (I don't sell 1000's by the way)It would have been not right to use other people's work, The second reason was that i would have total control of content and updates. There is nothing worse than a build not getting updated or even updated too much. Yes i will review my own builds in time but this blog is not about promoting myself. In a nutshell there are some great builds out there all for you to enjoy for free, Try out as many as you can before you decide what is best for you, My opinion is there are no "bad builds" everyone uses pretty much the same add ons, Albeit some look better than others and some are easier to navigate. Thank you for reading. Team Rok

How to install kodi To the fire stick with ADB

This is a tutorial on how to install Kodi on to your Amazon fire stick using ADB.

Please note you can use this method to install other apk files to your device.

Firstly download ADB and Kodi apk files to your pc, Please see links below.

https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24566466246344871 (ADB)

https://kodi.tv/download/ (KODI. download the arm file).

Scroll down to settings on your fire tv home page.

Scroll to system and select developer options. And switch on both adb debugger and allow apps from unknown sources.
Go back out to system and select about, Then scroll to network and copy the IP address of your device.
Now open up ADB and press new, A window will open. Here enter a name for your device, Enter the IP address and press save

Refresh ADB then press connect and in a few seconds your connection will show. Next press the install apk button and go to your saved apk. Highlight or double click apk and you will be asked if you want to install the apk press yes.

Once your apk is installed you will get a pop up telling you, Press ok. Go back to your device and and from settings go to Applications, Scrollscroll to the bottom and open up managed installed applications and open that, Then scroll down until you see kodi. Open and launch.

I hope this may be of some use to some. I know there are many that know this method and other methods and find it easy. I also know there are many out there that do not know and can find it daunting. Peace out and please do not that P##s out of people just learning.

Thanks
